I drink the blood of life I hide from the light I cannot love another for I am a lonely vampire I watch those around me grow old and die and I long to die myself
I smell death I hear the wolves sing they sing to me the living fear me the darkness lives in me the sun tries to kill me I am old as time I am as wise as any that come before me
Those who stand in my way challenging me die those who dishonor me are cast out and long to die I am not to be recant with I am non other than the lonely one
